Tried and true recipes using some of our farm fresh products
Roast Chicken with Rosemary
3-4 pound whole chicken
salt & pepper to taste
1 small onion quartered
1/4 c fresh chopped rosemary
Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
Rinse and pat chicken dry, season all over with salt and pepper, including cavity
Stuff cavity with onion and rosemary
Place in 9x13 pan
Roast in preheated oven 2 - 2.5 hours or until thermometer inserted in center is 165 degrees.


Blackberry Cobbler
1 cup sugar + 1/4 cup sugar
1 cup flour
1 cup whole milk
1/2 stick melted butter
2 cups fresh blackberries
DIRECTIONS
Combine 1c. sugar, 1c. flour, 1c. milk, and 1/2 stick of melted butter until combined
Add to 9x9 casserole dish and top with 2 c. blackberries
Sprinkle 1/4 c sugar on top and bake in a preheated oven at 350 F for 50 minutes
Add 2 T sugar on top and bake 10 more minutes.
